The „Where is Agathe Bjornsdatter Drageset” hype generates more and more rediculous ideas. The newest idiotic thing I found, was this “Where is Agathe?”-T-shirt. OK, who the fuck starts creating such things?
Imelda herself told me, to be a bit careful about understanding her article. She herself is just nerved by all the fuss - and so am I.

I'll see the shirt just in an ironic way and for myself I'll say: "Bye-bye, Agathe!" She did a good job, now she's gone and this will be my last post about this subject.

Emily the Strange, the literary, Internet and merchandising sensation, is coming to the big screen.

Yeeahh, I love Emily! I'll definitively want to see this movie. That's kind of movies I like to watch. It's been a long time that I was at the cinema. Ohhh noooo, I haven't seen Sex And The City. I watched the SATC serial once at the TV and it was so borING and uninterested, that I've never watched it again. So I personally can't understand the big hype about this movie. Thank God, here comes Emily :)

Counterculture icon Emily the Strange is getting her own movie. Unlike the ladies of SATC, Emily is a girl of 13 years who definitely is not looking for labels and love.She is the brainchild of Bay Area skateboard merchandiser Cosmic Debris, and after all kinds of t-shirts depicting Emily and her cats became popular, Emily got her own comic books. She's different things to different people: fun t-shirt logo, symbol of female empowerment, gothic figure, intriguing comic book heroine. She is a strange and awesome little girl who loves her white Mary Jane shoes.

Rob Reger conceived the idea in 1993 through promotional stickers, skateboards and T-shirts that he distributed from his garage. Three best-selling Emily books have been published by Chronicle Books and Dark Horse will soon begin publishing a quarterly Emily the Strange comic.

About Agathe and Stylebytes!

"I do find it a bit odd how many people are commenting here hoping to find the answer to the 'Where is Style Bytes?' mystery from myself and I know I'm probably contributing to the 'Where is she?!?' hype and furor by posting this but I did have some two cents to say...

From my initial post and ensuing posts from Lady Coveted and countless other blogs/forums etc, a discussion that sort of borders on being scarily stalkerish has resulted, involving Facebook/MySpace/Phiary (haven't a clue what the hell that is...) and even in-person tracking. It seems from these sources that Agathe is perfectly well and alive and out and about.

However, her blog has now gone offline and from the error message, it seems that Agathe herself has purposely done that to actively take her blog down. Which confirms what I suspected all along, and it is that Agathe, for some reason no longer wants to blog anymore and it is her decision not to give an explanation why.

So I think if that is the case, then I'm just going to let her be. Whilst I miss her posts dearly, I'm not about to hunt her down and demand WHY she isn't blogging anymore. She isn't obliged to give any explanation. If she started Style Bytes voluntarily, she has every right to take it down too. I can't say it's something I'd do myself especially without an explanation but nonetheless, I respect her decision.
I do silently ponder if I ever went AWOL for a month, what would happen but I'm guessing it wouldn't get to this stage of online social network hunting madness that's going on..."

Chanel at HELLO! magazine

Some time ago I just found an interesting magazine, the Fashion Special of UK HELLO! magazine. What’s so special about this magazine? It’s a magazine with only fashion inside. You don’t have to read anything about relationships, loosing weight or something stupid like this. It’s just about fashion.

One of my favourites (in this magazine and also on the runway) is the collection of Channel with all the lovely details. Normally I’m not very into Chanel, but this collection is really WOW!

This part of the collection make me think about playing tennis in the 1950s. Look at the colourful cut-off gloves, the brooches and the combination of this two accessories. I felt in love with the pattern of the pullovers. My parents wore such kind of clothes when they were little child – so this part of collection is perfect: Funny, vintage and wearable.

Another part: Stars and stripes forever (or so). It’s perfect, because I’m still in love with the great country of the US. If you like to wear such outfits, just try to make a DIY project or have a short stop at the online shop of topshop.

Nothing to say about this picture – the combination of casual items such as cardigans and knitted caps with elegant items like pearls is amazing! Incredible! Perfect!

The last part of the collection I wanna talk about is the jeans-elegant-swimsuit-part of the collection. What to you think? Isn’t it a great deal to create swimwear from jeans fabric? I love it! I also love the brooches, the two-finger-gloves and the peeptoe-bootie.

So you guys, just go out and create your own stuff! Chanel is perfect for inspiration this time.

the end (for now)

"Thank you all so much for your lovely comments! It's really great to know that so many people read and enjoy this blog. That being said, most of you were also quite understanding of my situation and suggested that I leave Fashion Robot, at least until summer.
So after a lot of thinking, I've decided that I'm going to take a break from blogging. I'm not sure if I'll definitely come back - it's pretty addictive and takes up a ton of school and social time. I'm sad to let this go after only 6 months (if you count my previous blog), but it'll be interesting to look back on this in the future and see my style and opinions evolve.
However, the Ebay store that my friend and I were planning to create is still a possibility, so check back here this summer to find out if it becomes a reality..."

(...) Besides these facts, I'm beginning to worry that blogging has been affecting my schoolwork. I've been up until at least midnight most nights for the past couple of months, usually due to spending too much time creating posts, responding to comments, and checking my favorite blogs. I know some people can get by with incredible grades on just a few hours of sleep, but I'm definitely not one of them! And as much as I love writing on the blog, I'm definitely not looking for any sort of job in fashion, so the few career-related merits of maintaining a style blog aren't that important to me. I wasn’t sure, what should be the content of my first entry. I was thinking about one of my favourite style-icons, but than I found this great picture of Sarah Jessica Parker with this fabulous hat.

I think, for a stylish outfit hats are just perfect. So it’s a real “StyleToGo”-outfit, because you only have to add an hat to simple jeans outfit and you’ve got something stylish “to go”.

Also there is the hat-loving Agyness Deyn. (OK, here we aren’t taking about simple style, but about making an extravagant outfit even more extravagant)

Chanel Choco Phone by Fred de Garilhe

The "Chanel Choco" would be a fashion mobile phone with really cool features. The design of Fred de Garilhe is also a dream of the future as well as fashion statement. And the fact that it will never be presumably produced, at least not as like this or not so soon, does to this beauty no demolition. Chanel themselves had nothing to do with the design and sadly there’s no plans for any production run, Fred had only "borrowed" the name to get a pinch of exclusivity.

It works by "integrating an optical fiber system that displays image between two glass parts. There are 12 micro lighter fibers that project image components to the glass, enabling thus quite a good luminosity, and keep the mobile phone concept as light as possible. But all the lights appear just when you open the phone by pushing removable part on the side of it." In addition to this given cell phone looks incredibly great standing for Madame Coco Chanel's superb design sense. Actually on the first glance the gadget doesn't seem to be a phone at all. When it is closed, it looks more like a piece of chocolate, but made from white, black, or yellow gold surface.

Thus, given cell phone has every prospect to success. Moreover, I think that it will be desired by many people, despite its price that will probably be quite a high one, because nothing of this kind has been created before.

"When I think about supermodels, I don't think about fashion at all. Fashion has little or nothing to do with what supermodels actually do. What I think is two-fold:

#1. Anorexia. #2. Sex.

Strange how they go together. These women actually manage to be anorexic and sexy at the same time and thus become supermodels, largely due to the gift of photography and airbrushing. (For those of you who don't know, airbrushing means that the picture has been softened so you don't see blemishes, scars, cellulite and in some cases: Rib cages.)

But are supermodels really that sexy?

Maybe, maybe not. Personally? You couldn't pay me to sleep with a skeleton, even if it was alive (or undead? teehee). Necrophilia is the closest thing I can think of to having sex with a supermodel. Their bones would be sticking into your skin/etc and making it very uncomfortable.

So they really are not "sexy" at all.

And yet supermodels are used to sell perfume, make-up, lingerie and other sexually-oriented fashion and/or accessories. In many cases the photographs they produce are simply pornography/erotica and aren't pushing any product except the magazine that they are in.

Are they actually selling a real product? Most of them are not. They're advertising fashion, but they're not actually selling it. With the exception of Heidi Klum promoting McDonalds most of them are advertising products we can't even buy in the local mall. So what are they really promoting? Sex, prostitution and pornography. Thats it. Why not be honest about it. These aren't supermodels. Sure, they are known as big name celebrity supermodels, but thats just a "name". They're really just softcore pornstars.

I can't say it enough. Its really the only true way to stay healthy. If you starve yourself, eventually the anorexia will start eating away at the muscle tissue in your brain and your hair will fall out. Don't believe me? Look at what happened to Supermodel Carré Otis. Its actually a common occurrence for anorex."

She wears clean, simple, classic cuts and loves the clothes from the 1930's and 1940's. She's totally into that look and that is the "style/look" she's trying to build for herself.

Today I found a very humorous book, its about rockstars and popstars blasphemer. Rockstars and popstars follow run down about one another: Dissen, Bitching or simply blaspheme is the nicest and worst secondary matter of the world is omnipresent – and the music circus with his overexcited (weird) exotics, narcissistic birds of paradise and self-obsessed, hypersensitive artist's nature comes up almost in for scandals, clap and meanness. It positions itself in the tradition of the slandering full of relish and gathers the best citations of the sharp-tongued stars from thirty years of rock history and pop history. I'm really sorry, the book is only available in german language. I can't understand that, because the most rock-pop stars are from america and speak am-english. But you know what, sometimes a picture is worth a thousands words!

Amy Winehouse and Kanye West were the big winners at Sunday's 50th annual Grammy Awards, each scoring multiple trophies — Winehouse, nominated for six awards, lost the final prize in a shocker when Herbie Hancock took album of the year for “River: The Joni Letters.”
I'm glad that MY favourite musicians are the big winners. I'm a huge fan of both: Amy & Kanye. I was very overjoyed, when I heard this news!

Oh my god, I want a natural talent for a perfect eyeliner swoosh, too. I tried so many times to draw me a "perfect" swoosh, that hold a whole day. So far it was impossible and it has ends always in a disaster and that I wiped the whole eyeliner away. I was so frustrated, that stoped to try out everything with an eyeliner! So I chosen Vicky for IOTW Awawd this week, becuase she inspired me with the pic to take the eyeliner in hand again...

It was love at first sight and I love it to death! I thought none second about it and bought this bag immediately, cause it reminds me of Pop Art and I'm a big fan of the Pop Art culture. The Bag is perfect for black, plain and simple clothes.

I'm not cinema or movie freak, but I love "Mr & Mrs Smith". It was the first movie I watched from the beginning to end. However, what I meant to say is when I saw especially this scene... I thought, oh my good that's so damn sexy. Angie with a white men chemise and extremely hot red rubber boots, what can be hotter? In that case Brad isn't important to me, ok he's still sexy. But my whole attention is on Angie, the casual bit messy look, without hairdo and accessories is so sexy. All ladys should wear more white men chemise with rubber boots! Brad & Angie anyway a hot couple and very sexy.

Let's take a look at the human superficiality. When we meet a person for the first time we are very superficially (be honest to yourself!), it stands to reason. But what's more important to you a nice face or a nice body? Ok at best both, but then we were all top models!! Of course character/ personality, humor, intellect and so on are important, too. But that are things that we can't SEE for the first time. My opinion is, If I keep looking long enough I will find one with a face I like, a body I like, a personality I like, and a voice I like. The whole package, but if the rest of the package was great (face, voice, words, attitude, personality) and the body was "acceptable" (nothing that actually repulsed me), I'd jump all over it! However, I'd prefer a nice face, because it's alot easier to work on your body than your face!

He was found dead in his bed in one of his residences in Soho by his housekeeper at 3:35 PM ET today. Law enforcement sources believe it was not a crime, adding that prescription pills were found near his body.
According to NYPD a masseuse arrived at Ledger's apartment and was let in by a housekeeper. When Ledger didn't answer his bedroom door, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened it and found him unconscious. They attempted to wake him; when they couldn't, they called 911. The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams.
